Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering strives for increasing the knowledge, enhancing the critical thinking, ability to change information into knowledge and power of analyzing the things technically of each and every individual of every changing society through students.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering(EEE) Department of SEAT helps its students to develops their ability by encouraging critical thinking by introducing various learning techniques. The EEE department was established in the year 2009 with the goal to sharpen the skills of the students ready to face the corporate world outside and grooming them to become a confident engineer.

The department offers four year B.Tech. Program (comprising of eight semesters) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. EE is the core course, but with advancement of Electrical Technology andElectronics. This stream is recognized, worldwide for its flexibility and academic excellence. The curriculum of B.Tech. Program comprises of core courses, department elective courses, open electives, seminars, laboratory experiments, internship,real-timeprojects and association program.

The EEE department has well equipped laboratories and workshops to provide the students with the necessary and sufficient practical knowledge, besides encouraging them to try out their innovative research and development ideas. Experts from the industry are periodically invited to give lectures and demonstrations to the students on the latest developments in the field. Students are given exposure to industries by industrial visits and industrial training session.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering Department has well qualified and professionally experience members. The intake of department admits around 60 students every year in the B.Tech. EEE course.

Our laboratories have been very well established not only to cover the complete syllabus but to motivate the students to learn beyond the syllabus which definitely develops the complete knowledge of the subject for the practical and theoretical depth of knowledge and to develop skills sets of the students to become promising engineers in future.

VISION:

To be the premier center of excellence in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and to produce globally competent engineers with values and ethics

MISSION:

M1. Provide professional skills in operating and design Electrical and electronic equipment.

M2. Bringing awareness among the students with emerging technologies to meet the dynamic needs of the society

M3. Develop collaborative research, internship, and entrepreneurial skills through Industry interaction in faculty and

students
