Admission Procedure

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility & Admission procedure  for B.Tech.,  

  • B.Tech admissions conducted through the common entrance test (EAMCET) by the Andhra Pradesh state government.
  • The minimum qualification for admission in to a 4 – year duration Under Graduate course B. Tech is a pass in the Intermediate     (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of AP State or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
  • 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the EAMCET.
  • 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
  • In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B. Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on the merit in the ECET, under lateral entry scheme.

The Convener of ECET admits candidates at 2nd year of BE (lateral entry), from the stream of Diploma Holders and B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subjects based on the rank secured in Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) to an extent of 10% of the sanctioned intake, on supernumerary basis. FEES: As applicable in case of “Category A” seats.

Eligibility & Admission procedure  for M.Tech.,

  • M.Tech admissions conducted through the common entrance tests GATE / PGECET.
  • The minimum qualification for admission in to a 2 – year duration Post  Graduate course M. Tech is a pass in the following disciplines:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture, or
  •  Master’s degree in Mathematics / Physics / Life Science / related subjects.
  • 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the GATE / PGECET.
  • 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.

Eligibility & Admission procedure  for MBA.,

  • MBA admissions conducted through the common entrance test  ICET.
  • The minimum qualification for admission in to a 2 – year duration Post  Graduate course MBA  must have passed a bachelor’s degree from any institution recognized by UGC/AICTE.
